The first stop of the Char Dham Yatra is the holy dwelling of Goddess Yamuna Ji the daughter of the God Sun. Yamunotri Dham surrounded by the beautiful Glaciers which give you the dazzles to your eyes. According to the Hindu Mythology Goddess Yamuna Ji is considered to be the sister of Yamaraj ( The God of Death), and therefore a holy dip in the pious water pond here relieves the devotees from a painful death.
