About UTC

It formed after the separation of Uttarakhand, Uttarakhand road transport corporation is a state owned bus service provider in the state of Uttarakhand. UTC established in 2003, currently Corporation own a fleet of around 1200 buses that run across the entire state of Uttarakhand and the adjoining states of Himachal Pradesh, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana and Punjab.

With 18 depots across the state, the Uttarakhand buses can be seen playing on many major routes in northern India. Uttarakhand roadways is covered by major hill routes and is being piled by the buses of wheel base 166'' inches with not more than 50% percent over hang whereas the buses playing on plain routes have larger than 166 inches wheelbase, and more seating capacity and upto 60 percent overhang . And the well maintained fleet of buses ensures a smooth and comfortable journey throughout.

With a vision to offer the highest level of services the corporation provides all types of services to its passengers. Keeping in consideration the different need of its passengers, the corporation runs different type of buses.

Volvo Buses

Volvo buses mainly run on Dehradun to Delhi route. These are all air conditioned buses with full recline pushback seats, front and rear air suspension. Mineral water is provided during journey of this type of buses.

Hi-tech Buses

This type of buses has full reclined seats with headrest, and extra space for luggage. All are 2X2 push back seats, some of those buses have VCD Facility and passengers can watch free movies while on journey.

Ordinary Buses

Ordinary buses categories in hill ordinary and plain ordinary buses. In hill ordinary buses less seats capacity as compare to the plain ordinary buses. All seats are 2X3 comfortable seats. These types of buses are very affordable as the fare is considerable less than that of hi-tech buses or super deluxe buses. Luggage is allowed on the rout of the buses as well include the usual luggage space.
